Cardboard egg boxes should be placed in your purple-lidded bin if you have one, otherwise in your recycling bin.

 

Plastic egg boxes should be placed in your recycling bin.

 

Egg boxes made from other materials, for example styrofoam-type material, are not currently recyclable and should therefore be placed in your general household waste bin.
